Squash New Zealand made the following statement today -
Oliver Sport New Zealand Squash championships: Due to the uncertainty of alert levels by the 10th September, we have made the tough decision to postpone the Oliver Sport New Zealand Squash championships once again until the 29th – 31st October. Entries will be open until the 1st October for players to add/remove themselves. A new grading list will be run on the 1st October to determine the top 32. 2021 Super Champ Nationals: A decision regarding if Super Champs can go ahead will be made on the 6th September. We will be keeping an eye on all relevant information up until this date prior to making the decision. Our decision will be based on the likelihood of the majority of New Zealand being in level 1 by the start of Super Champs. There may be some instances where we can go ahead at level 2 but we will be following the government’s guidelines, working with the host clubs and other stakeholders prior to making any calls. Squash New Zealand is undertaking a national survey to learn more about the experience of those that currently play or have played squash previously. This survey is designed to provide us with information to enhance the experience of those currently playing squash and help design initiative to grow and promote squash. We would appreciate if you could take the time to complete the survey by clicking HERE. To encourage everyone to get typing, we have a number of incentives.
For all individuals you go into the draw to win the return travel costs to any national event or 1 of 5 Dunlop Hyperfibre XT Rev Pro Racquet as used by Double world champion Ali Farag valued at $270.
